Michael Torres also called Myke towers, is a Puerto Rican songwriter and rapper who was born in Rio Piedras Puerto Rico on 15 January 1994. His name was changed in the year 2017 to Mike Towers, to Myke Towers. This was in order to honor the Young Kingz music group of which he's a part. The letter i on their name was replaced by the letters y. Myke Towers has been a fixture in the underground rap scene of Puerto Rico since his adolescence creating his first original compositions as well as freestyles through his SoundCloud account. His songs from 2014 Dia de cobro Por Mi Es Normal as well as En los Bloques made him famous. The freestyle he performed, La Nueva Droga, and his interpretation of Drake's first track "0 to 100" also attracted attention in the world of urban music.
