LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball player who is a player with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. He is known as King James he is widely thought to be one of the best basketball players ever and is often compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player in history. James is the winner of 4 NBA championships. He has four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. and two Olympic gold medals. James is the NBA All-Star who has the most playoff points, the second highest career point total, and the seventh highest ever assist number. Alongside being an NBA All-Star, James was selected for his NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. The third-highest number in NBA Finals ever was ten, with eight being consecutive between 2011 and 2018. James has been selected for the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's very first player to have attained 10,000 points or more in rebounds, assists, and points in his career in 2022. James played basketball for St. Vincent St. Mary High School near his hometown of Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hyped by media. In preparation for his professional career, it was the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the number one overall pick in the NBA draft in 2003. After being named 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, he rapidly became a top player in the NBA receiving the NBA's MVP award both in 2009 and 2010 James went free agency in 2010, after he failed to win championships with Cleveland. He made the decision to leave Cleveland for Miami Heat, announced on the show on television The Decision, is considered as one of the most controversial free-agent decisions in the history of sports.
