Lis Wiehl was born on August 19, 1962 and was previously a Fox News legal analyst.
She previously served as an associate professor of law in the University of Washington Law School. She's also provided legal comments for Bill O'Reilly's radio show and National Public Radio. She appeared weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs Tonight, the Imus morning programs, and hosts The Legal Lis radio show. Wiehl was raised in Yakima she attended West Valley High School. She earned her bachelor's in English from Barnard College, followed by an MA in literature from the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past at The US Attorney. She was a legal correspondent for the NPR program All Things Considered. She worked as the deputy chief investigation counsel for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. She was a law professor as a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle which she was the manager of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 through 2001. Wiehl has been a Fox News analyst since 2001.
