Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. She is most well-known as anchorperson for the CNN's At This Hour morning show. Bolduan was also the anchor of CNN's morning programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan participated in the award-winning coverage by CNN of presidential elections 2012 and 2016. Bolduan has worked as a Washington DC-based congressional correspondent covering activities in Congress, the US House of Representatives and Senate. Bolduan's reports on the activities of Congress and other events in her time as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit included the discussion to increase the limit on debt for the US, as well as debates by the supercommittee. Bolduan was an associate reporter on general assignments, covering such stories like the Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision regarding Obamacare. She also covered the introduction of stimulus plans in 2009. In 2007 she was hired by CNN as a correspondent national for CNN Newsource. As a CNN Newsource National Correspondent, she reported breaking news to the 800 CNN Newsource partners and provided feature reports. She was employed by NBC News MSNBC as well as WTVD-TV. She is a mother of three and her family in New York City.
